When I started my solo journey many years ago, I was just thinking about creating something that I could work on on my own.

And like many others, I didn’t think about the expression “undertake” , I just thought about doing it and that was it.

But the term exists, and serves to define the act of carrying out.

Therefore, when we hear the term entrepreneur, we tend to associate it with a person who has or is starting their own ventures or, in other words, starting out on their own.

This is indeed the case, as the formal definition of Entrepreneurship is the process of starting a business or organization for profit, or for social needs.

In this case, we use the phrase for profit or for social needs to delineate and separate commercial entrepreneurship from social and charitable entrepreneurship .
